LEAFLET DISTRIBUTION

Dear Leafleter,

Thank you for your interest. We are a property company, based in Manchester, seeking to locate suitable properties to buy mainly in the north-west.

We find our customers by various means – one of these being leafleting.

Quite simply, the people we are looking for will be required to work between 8 – 16 hours weekly delivering leaflets to mainly terraced properties.

We already have pre-defined areas, and streets for the leaflets to be delivered to, and therefore there is little actual responsibility for the leaflet deliverers – apart from putting the leaflets through the doors. Your territory will remain yours constantly.

One attraction of this job is that the hours are flexible – to a point. We do not wish leaflets to be distributed outside the hours of 8am and 8pm – any other time is fine. This allows you to have total flexibility in your planning of your workload.

Payment:
The pay is based on 2.5 pence per leaflet delivered. We know from years of experience that it is possible to deliver between 200 and 300 leaflets per hour – depending on the type of property being delivered to.

At a conservative average of 240 leaflets per hour – this equates to an hourly payment of £6.00 (240 leaflets @2.5p each), but of course the quicker the delivery process (mainly terraced housing), the higher the rate.
We also pay very generous bonuses when we or one of our clients buys a property from your catchment area. We pay £100 bonus for every house that we buy. Over the period of a year this should equate to your average hourly rate being around £9.00 – if the bonuses are spread out evenly.


Hopefully you can now see that the rewards are extremely good, combined with the flexible hours, for what is a relatively unskilled job!

Please be aware, if you are interested in taking your enquiry further, that you will be required to deliver all your leaflets each and every week – maximum 3500 = around 12 – 15 hours work. The weather can be a nuisance obviously – so please take this into account! The job itself is simple however. Applicants need to be physically fit - owing to the amount of walking involved.

Warning:

We take very seriously anyone found to be defrauding us and not delivering the number of leaflets they have claimed to have done. It is a criminal offence to do so – and we always, as we have done previously prosecute.

There are numerous checks we carry out to ensure we are not being defrauded, and we also realise quickly anyway – because our level of enquiries always drops off from the norm! You WILL be found out very quickly... so don't try it on ! You'll wish you hadn't...

We understand that there may be certain times you will require off for your holidays also, so we ask you to notify us in advance so that we can make alternative arrangements for those times.

As you will be classed as a self employed contractor, there is no holiday pay for these times. Also, you will be required to make provision for declaring your income to the relevant authorities. We will simply pay you by cheque every 2 weeks (when we restock you with leaflets and discuss your plans for the next 2 weeks work). We will require a receipt from you – which we will supply – you simply need to sign for the amount paid. This is simply for our internal accounting – and is not submitted to any authorities.

We can either visit you at home each fortnight to pay you and restock you, or meet at a convenient place for both parties.
